circus!
literally. grady had his kindergarten circus today. his school does this every year with the kindergarteners as a culmination of their colors and numbers unit.
and like his sisters he chose to be a tiger. so i bought some tiger ears and a cheap orange t-shirt at joannes. i outlined the stripes and he colored them in with a sharpie. with his new black church pants he declared he looked "slick". he insisted on having his face painted before school and had no qualms being the only kid on the bus with cat ears and whiskers!
he definitely has confidence.

cami wrote this in my notebook the first week of school. so true.
i know. rob reminded me that my last post featured grady as well.
it's just that he's having all these "firsts" right now.
maybe a yellowstone post next?

Oh my goodness he is so cute! I have to agree that he does look "slick". Do you use photoshop to make his scrap book pages? I like it, that is how I make mine.
Okay, you have a natural model on your hands! Do you train him or is this all Grady? Too cute: I wish I were as creative as you! And I love all the posts on Grady: he needs attention too:) I don't think anyone minds looking at the cute things he's doing!
That's a clever little costume. And so simple, too. I love Cami's quote -- pretty philosophical for one so young! And I love your family photo at the top of the blog!
What an insightful quote miss Cami.
Grady is such a character. Maybe he's headed for his name in lights...
You never cease to amaze me with your creative juices. Grady is getting so big! He is Rob's identical twin.
*we'd be happy to come to seattle to perform! I'm sure we could all crash at your place:)
Zowie - look at you go - two posts in one month! :) Grady is the coolest tiger ever.
And I'm so glad you "warmed up" to me.
p.s. - I love the new banner picture... can't wait to see more pics from your trip!
oh my landy! your kids are so cute it hurts!
I wish I had that kind of confidence in a tiger costume. He does look fierce (and slick)!
LOVE Cami's quote about the friendship oven! It "warmed my heart!" :)
i am late getting in a comment but i feel just like everyone else....i love seeing posts on grady! he's pretty dang slick even with out the tiger costume on!
and i think cami's writing career is well on it's way to fruition. that's one smart cookie.
have a fabulous trip, in just a few days! love ya,g
I love Cami's quote. I had to read it a few times tho because I think Im a bit tired! I think he did a great job coloring the shirt! He really is a beautiful little boy..don't tell him I said that tho- you have to tell him I said he was SLICK!
cami wrote that? wow... wise beyond her years.
a slick tiger indeed!... and why shouldn't he have confidence?... he's so dang cute!
Could you make me a shirt like that for Halloween? Such a confident boy...I love that.
And that quote is great...I'm writing that one down!
cute boy you have there!
shilo would LOVE to be a tiger in a circus! maybe i'll tell her kindergarten teacher about this idea for next year.
and i really enjoyed cami's quote, she should try to tie that into this years reflection contest. i think the theme is 'WOW'. and i think that would fit perfect!
That's my grandson!! You've just GOT to love his magnetic personality. I love him to pieces! In fact, I think its time that he and I have a day together.
Love, Nonni
Me again...I went back to the top to see your new banner photo and I can't see Grady!! All I can see is some flames shooting out of the side of your head!!!
Love, Mom
So cute! Gotta love the confidence these little souls have!
Awwww, he is just so darn cute. I love the costume, and he is the cutest tiger on the planet.
I love Cami's quote, that girl is very creative.
Post all you want about Grady, that way we can enjoy all his first along with you.
p.s. love your new header, that is fantastic. can't wait to see a post about your trip.
i know, the header pic is funny.
