Thank you for offering a glimpse of your world! Your house is going to be amazing...but I have to admit (don't hate me) I am a little bit sad to see the old stuff go. You have such a talent for creating a "look". And I have happy memories of garage sales and get-aways that supplied many of the old furnishings and tchochkis...I am sure the finished photos will knock my socks off, though, and take the nostalgia with them. :)

I'm impressed that Shannon knows how to spell "tchochkis." I wouldn't even attempt it.

All the stress is worth it. Eric told me that Rob got teary (sorry Rob) about his blessings during his lesson so that must mean that your marriage is going to make it through the remodel. ;)

I swear, I checked your blog like an hour ago, and no new post. HOw weird is that? Now there's a new one to view. :) Love all the remodel pics. I can't wait to see it in person, just a couple more weeks until I come visit.

p.s. I was really hoping your bathroom would be complete so I could relish in the tub when I come babysit. Bummer! Guess you'll have to go away again sometime. :) Love you

It looks amazing! And you are surviving it, which is a feat in and of itself. I wish we would have had a marriage class thru ours! ;)

I can't wait to see it all finished...how exciting!

I keep hoping that you'll have an "open house" when it's all done, and after seeing these pictures, I know it would be hard for me to ever leave that bathroom. I think I'd bring my swimming suit so it would be a little less embarrassing to see me sitting there, soaking in your tub! ;)

Of course, I have not seen your house in person. .. but it is fun to get an idea through the pictures. It looks like it will be amazing when it is complete. Hope everything continues to go smoothly.

Actually I liked your "before pictures". So, I'm really anxious to see the completed "after" pictures!

I'm a little like Shannon. I look at your "before" pics and remember Grady learning to walk on that kitchen floor, the birthday parties, baby showers around the big white dining table, many happy memories. Guess we will just have to make new happy memories with your new remodel. I'm so proud of all 5 of you; sharing rooms, things squished and just so much togetherness!! But you are on the down side, won't be much longer, just long enough to get in another trip to Vegas! Love, Mom

What a huge project!! I can't wait for the open house...I hope we're all invited! I'll drive up from Gig Harbor to come see it- I never even went into your house when we were still in the ward so I guess I can't ooh and ahh about how much it's changed but I sure can ooh and ahh about how beautiful it is!

Hi. I have been meaning to say hi for awhile. I am good at reading people's blogs, but I am not the best at leaving comments. You have a lovely family and you are a really good photographer. I am a photographer too.
